Located in the idyllic Essex countryside, our 17th century barn houses a cosy café come tea room. Our overall ethos for food is simple: produced in house wherever possible or sourced locally. Whether a light lunch, or a chat with friends over coffee and cake, our café is the perfect place to meet in a countryside setting. Since 2007 it is has been continually popular with locals and visitors alike.
In February 2014 we opened our new gift shop alongside our café. With a wide range of gifts from independent suppliers it is a great place to find a personal gift or add a touch of individuality to your own home.

Our own Vegetables
We also have our own seasonal vegetables grown on the farm by farm manager Rob. This means that whenever possible we can give you the freshest vegetables, and we can assure they haven’t been treated with a multitude of chemicals.
Greenstead Farm champions local food. Over 65% of what we sell and use in the kitchen comes from a selected group of local suppliers. We believe that supporting local produce is of utmost importance, and it tastes fantastic too!
